Antique 1875 Victorian W. Avery & Son Redditch PICNIC BASKET Needle Case RARE

Nestled in a box of vintage doll items from an estate, I could not believe it when I saw it! Up for auction is this RARE Antique 1875 W. Avery & Son Redditch Victorian Needle Case, approx 2 1/4" (6 cm) long by 2" (5cm) wide. It is a picnic basket design, in original found condition recovered from an estate, bottom marking / hallmark is clear and visible. I will attempt to describe the middle--top-circle with a "1" inside it, top of diamond has the number 23, sides of the diamond have a "2" on the left and an "S" on the right, an "M" on the bottom point of the diamond, and in the middle a capital "R" with a small lower case "d" to the right, almost like an exponent.
